Weir Minerals is looking for an Application Engineer to accurately select equipment, prepare proposals, and enter orders, while also providing technical support to customers and internal sales personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in Technical sales or application engineering in Manufacturing industry.
- Experience in mining or chemical industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review customer technical specifications and commercial terms to align with Weir's offerings.
- Accurately select equipment based on RFQ package information, considering hydraulic requirements and material properties.
- Prepare and submit formal quotations in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Accurate proposal creation within our ERP system.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal sales personnel, troubleshoot issues, and assist with technical applications and proposals.
