Arconic is looking for co-op associates to support product and process development efforts on the manufacturing floor, acquire and analyze production data to identify areas for change and improvement, and collaborate with commercial teams on reviewing new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience with 2D/3D modeling software, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, or other applicable modeling software

- Coordinate material, product, and/or process qualifications per customer test plans
- Support product and process development efforts on the manufacturing floor
- Acquire and Analyze production data to identify areas for change and improvement
- Collaborate with commercial teams on reviewing new business opportunities
Other
- Must be currently enrolled at Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering, Aeronautics and Astronautics, Aeronautical Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 1 year of engineering coursework completed. (Must be at least an upcoming Sophomore).
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- 2+ years of engineering coursework completed
- 3.0 GPA and above
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
- The Arconic Co-Op program requires that a student spend two semesters employed in a full-time capacity at one of our locations.
