Lumafield has developed the world's first accessible X-Ray CT scanner for engineers, and they are looking for an Application Engineer to help customers leverage their products, specifically focusing on computer vision and machine learning solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with common computer vision and machine learning algorithms/problems – segmentation, classification, object detection, anomaly detection, etc.
- Strong Python software development skills – OOP, git, unit testing + integration testing, deployment.
- 3D machine learning experience
- CT experience
- Metrology experience
- Software Development experience
Responsibilities
- Specialize in understanding how to develop and deliver computer vision and machine learning solutions atop Lumafield’s products for our customers
- Consult regularly in pre-sales contexts to advise Account Executives and Application Engineers as to the scope and possibilities of Lumafield’s computer vision and machine learning solutions
- Work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to build expertise
- Quickly become the Lumafield expert and point person for Lumafield’s machin learning and computer vision solutions
- Own post-sales training, tuning and delivery of machine learning and computer vision solutions
- Ship new algorithms and updates to Lumafield’s Voyager software which extend or enhance our computer vision and machine learning capabilities
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a software development or technical pre-sales role
- Spend most of your time in our Lumafield San Francisco office (80% of time, on average) while also regularly traveling to customers to support their missions (20% of time, on average).
