CECO Environmental, specifically Kemco Systems, is seeking an Application Engineer I to support sales by providing technical expertise on their water solutions, ensuring competitive proposals and successful customer integration, ultimately driving sales and protecting industrial operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with filtration and separation equipment is a strong advantage.
- Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical support and solutions to the sales team and customers from pre-sale strategy through client implementation and installation.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems.
- Analyzes customer requirements and illustrates how company solutions can provide value and support their organization.
- Prepares proposals and technical responses to RFI and RFPs.
- Understands specific client systems and equipment requirements in order to identify additional sales opportunities to provide to the sales team.
- Recommends modifications to standard products to meet individual customer requirements, within practical company and economic limitations.
- Provides written/verbal quotations and performs necessary follow-up in accordance with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and company price lists, electronic quote tool, and contractual discount schedules.

- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
- Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience.
