Kollmorgen is looking to solve the problem of finding and developing talented individuals to fill various engineering roles within the company, including Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Applications Engineer, Software Engineer, and Test & Automation Engineer, to support its lean manufacturing environment and business growth.
Requirements
- Pursuing a 4-year Engineering degree.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for direct and frequent communication with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Good interpersonal skills for our multi-functional team environment.
- Ability to work with all levels, including management and production personnel, to resolve technical issues that are identified through the manufacturing process.
- U.S. Person, which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with motor, drive, and control system sizing and selection based on customer requirements.
- Supporting internal teams and customers with product recommendations and application guidance.
- Helping prepare technical documentation, proposals, and product specifications.
- Participating in product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Collaborating with field sales and product management to support customer accounts.
- Learning to use engineering tools and systems to support a paperless workflow.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and team projects.
