Thermo Fisher is looking for an Application Engineer to configure, test, and customize suites of inter-related software for specific customer needs, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and customer needs within customer environments.
Requirements
- Experience deploying, testing, configuring, and customizing software solutions, including some programming and/or scripting.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with resolving techniques and effective practices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for configuring, testing, and customizing suites of inter-related software’s for specific customer needs.
- Lead all aspects of the development and implementation of software solutions within a customer environments.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize applications.
- Perform detailed testing of the coordinated software solutions to ensure functionality and performance.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the defined workflow across products.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working within customer environments
- Pharma lab and IT experience highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
