WaFd Bank Technology team is seeking an Application Platform Engineer to own, design, implement, and maintain applications supporting banking operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance. The role aims to understand customer needs, optimize banking products, provide technical support, and ensure successful application deployment.
Requirements
- Experience in administering CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) and SaaS applications (i.e. JSM, Jira, Atlassian Cloud, TalkDesk, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong understanding of application architecture, configurations, user permissions, best practices, governance, and change management.
- Familiarity API integrations.
- Knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, server administration, and cloud technologies.
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with cloud-based banking solutions and platforms
- Analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
Responsibilities
- Owner and strategic leader for multiple enterprise applications (i.e. JSM, Jira, Atlassian Cloud, TalkDesk, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Lead administrator of the CCaas and SaaS applications.
- Design, configure, customize, and optimize banking applications to meet client specifications.
- Coordinate and execute application installations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Provide post-deployment support to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
