Zions Bancorporation is looking to expand its digital presence through cutting-edge technologies and needs an Application/Platform Systems Engineer to join the Digital Strategy Project team to work on entrepreneurial projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with JSON, YAML or other popular data exchange format
- 6+ years of experience administering applications (e.g., incident response, change requests, user administration, configuration, Salesforce, etc)
- Working knowledge of network and security principles
- Working knowledge of GitHub and ADO
- Candidates with strong understanding of authentication best practices preferred
- Experience with public, private, and/or hybrid cloud implementations.
- ServiceNow, or similar system administration experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Administering and configuring applications, the security environment, and a variety of other mission critical experiences on various technology platforms for our users.
- Create templates and components within various third-party solutions/platforms and implement to accomplish business objectives.
- Create solutions, reporting, experiences and/or automation leveraging various technologies. (e.g., JSON, JavaScript, APEX, etc)
- Adhere to ITSM best practices (e.g., Change, Incident, Knowledge, etc)
- Document, demo and showcase features to stakeholders and/or customers.
- Document business process, application, and data flows.
- Research, analyze and recommend technology configuration, functionality, and administration solutions for our various digital solutions.

- This position requires regular face-to-face interaction with teams, business stakeholders, and executives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- We will consider candidates in the area, able to relocate to the area, or working remotely but willing to travel regularly to Salt Lake City.
- Strong communication and documentation skills (e.g. BPMN)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies.
- Define and participate in DevSecOps and SSDLC activities.
