Peraton is seeking experienced Application Programmers to support the Defense Logistics Agency in providing data integration capabilities to the DoD and other Federal Agencies, focusing on developing a modernized transaction processing platform, enhancing reporting capabilities, and integrating a new customer portal.
Requirements
- Expert experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.
- Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models.
- Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
- Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Experience with Informatica
- Experience with Oracle B2B
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret functional business applications and system requirements to maintain continuity in key areas including logistics, finance, accounting, contracts, and personnel systems
- Translate functional requirements and detailed design specifications into efficient and maintainable software solutions. Design, develop, test, debug, and refine code to meet evolving system needs.
- Enhance existing software to improve performance, reduce operating time, and increase overall system efficiency.
- Create and maintain accurate, user-level and program-level documentation to ensure sustainment supportability and knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and coordinate programming efforts to meet sustainment and enhancement milestones.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, considering limitations of hardware, operating time, and resource constraints to deliver reliable outcomes.
- Design logic flowcharts and system diagrams to support the sustainment of systems architecture and workflows.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA, Minimum of 6 years with a MS/MA, Minimum of 3 years with a PhD
- Must possess Secret Clearance
- Travel may be required
