WaFd Bank is seeking an Application Systems Analyst to design, implement, and maintain applications supporting banking operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance. The role aims to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by serving as a subject matter expert and strategic partner.
Requirements
- Experience in administering CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) and SaaS applications (i.e. JSM, Jira, Atlassian Cloud, TalkDesk, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Familiarity API integrations.
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with cloud-based banking solutions and platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of bank systems, including operating and network systems, with a strong desire to learn more about these systems and other technologies.
- Analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
Responsibilities
- Partner with IT teams to design and optimize banking applications, including core banking systems, deposit platforms, loan processing platforms, document management platforms, file transmission, ITSM platforms and payment gateways to meet client specifications.
- Provide daily operational support to maintain system uptime and meet business needs.
- Analyze and gather requirements to perform application configurations that meet stakeholder needs.
- Participate in application installations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Provide post-deployment support to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
