The Mount Sinai Health System is looking to solve the problem of acquiring in-depth knowledge of Digital platforms and solutions, and implementing them effectively to improve patient care and healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Experience with the Epic software or other clinical or business systems
  • Familiarity with third-party libraries and API integrations
  • Full technical knowledge of applications analysis
  • Knowledge of diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
  • Experience working with technical architecture of interoperable systems
  • Experience with application design, testing and implementation process
  • Experience with software development and implementation

Responsibilities

  • Successfully achieve certification in a primary Epic application assigned as determined by Epic Course Catalog.
  • Has full technical knowledge of applications analysis and has supervisory duties of instructing, assigning, directing and checking the work of the other Applications Analysts.
  • Develops new features and user interfaces from wireframe models. Ensures the best performance and user experience of the application
  • Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
  • Works within a technical architecture of interoperable systems, collaborating with other technology teams and vendors, to apply best application architecture designs.
  • May work with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process
  • Coordinates the activities of the section with other IT sections

Other

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Five years of solid, diverse work experience in IT
  • Experience working independently and demonstrated accountability for groups of tasks or processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and vendors
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
