The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) is looking for an Applications Developer 2 to assist Pennsylvania residents and entities with obtaining clean water by developing web applications and database queries for PENNVEST Web Applications.
Requirements
- at least one year of experience with MS SQL Server 2019 or later
- at least one year of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Razor, DOM (Document Object Model), and OWASP
- at least one year of experience with the MVC framework
- at least one year of experience with N-Tier application development using C-Sharp in the .NET Framework
- at least one year of experience with User Interface (UI) or User Experience (UX)
- experience with Power Platform
- experience with Power Automate and Power BI
Responsibilities
- developing business solutions using Power Platform
- creating Power Automate workflows between web applications and services
- establishing data visualization between PENNVEST web applications using Power BI
- creating SQL queries for PENNVEST web application and using MVC framework while adhering to ADA mandates and requirements
- gathering requirements from business users and translating them into effective technical solutions
- ensuring thorough documentation
- providing technical support to internal and external users

- reside in or be willing to relocate to Pennsylvania upon hire
- full-time employment with a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM work schedule, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch

- associate’s degree in any information technology field or a bachelor's degree in any information technology field
- one year as an Applications Developer 1 or Computer Programmer 3 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles)
