Designs, develops, implements, and supports all in-house applications and/or custom interfaces to vendor applications. Responsible for configuring and supporting all application development environments, including troubleshooting, custom user management, and customizations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with a modern server-side language such as C-Sharp, Java, Node or Python.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, ES6, jQuery, JSON
  • Proficiency in UI Design & Style like HTML5, Responsive/Adaptive Design, Design Thinking, Usability Design, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Tailwind.
  • Proficiency in UI frameworks (One or more of) Angular, AngularJS, react.js, React Native, Node.js, Vue.js
  • Experience working with SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture patterns and REST API.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio for project development.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
  • Experience in analysis and design of technical and functional design requirements.
  • Proficient with Adobe suite products, including Adobe Photoshop.
  • MCDBA (Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing and develop new applications to support organizational business needs.
  • Assists in physical and logical database design. Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions. Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions. Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards. Experience creating frameworks, templates and documentation for other use.
  • Designs and styles with responsive and adaptive approaches to create beautiful and accessible experiences.
  • Brings concepts and designs for user-facing web applications to life.
  • Uses modern web development and DevOps practices to develop, test, debug and deploy software.
  • Uses scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.

Other

  • Executes tasks associated with project plans created by Central IT Management on time and within aggressive timelines.
  • Complies with all applicable Tribal regulations, internal controls, policies, and procedures. Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately upon awareness.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skill set.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
