Arcfield and Orion Space Solutions are looking to solve complex space physics challenges and address real-world problems through digital transformation, space mission engineering, and launch assurance, miniaturized sensors and satellites, advanced modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, and conventional and hypersonic missile support.
Requirements
- Development experience with HTML/CSS/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS
- Ability to create clean, minimal, and efficient websites
- AZURE Certification in the developer path or equivalent
- Experience with CesiumJS or other web visualization tools
- Experience in software engineering and development
- C / C++ experience with interest in developing embedded coding
- Experience deploying to containerized microservices using docker/podman/apptainer in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Responsibilities
- Conducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of electronic data processing software.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensures software standards are met. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Coordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.

- Bachelor’s degree or technical school degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) and 0-2 years of experience
- Demonstrate initiative in performing job tasks
- Exhibit problem-solving skills leading to sound judgment and quality decisions
- Active security clearance
- Experience working on government contracts and customers
