Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern to provide technical support and development for analog IC and module products for DC-DC power conversion solutions, including simulation, bench evaluation, reference designs, debugging customer designs, and writing application notes.
Requirements
- Hands on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and development of analog IC and module products for DC-DC power conversion solutions.
- Simulation and bench evaluation for new products.
- Providing reference designs.
- Debugging customer designs.
- Writing application notes.
- Work with AEs and DEs on new product evaluation and debugs.
- Write application notes, design notes, and articles.
Other
- This is a full time internship opportunity, ideally for at least 12 weeks.
- Timeline can be flexible for Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- 3rd year BSEE or 4th year MSEE student.
- Work in an office, or lab, 3 days per week as coordinated with supervisor.
