Nationwide Financial is looking to spearhead the development and implementation of innovative AI solutions to drive measurable improvements in customer experience, operational efficiency, and overall business performance within their Life Insurance Business Unit.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI or digital transformation roles, with a background in technology, product development, or innovation.
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies and product management/owner principles.
- Strong understanding of machine learning (ML), NLP, generative AI, and ML concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
- Translate business challenges into AI use cases and develop enablement roadmaps.
- Assess data readiness and identify appropriate data sources for AI adoption.
- Create and socialize business cases for AI opportunities.
- Oversee AI project lifecycles from ideation to deployment.
- Manage cross-functional teams and ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery.
- Lead the identification and maintenance of a backlog of AI opportunities and use cases through structured ideation efforts.
Other
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of change management and technology adoption techniques.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- This role will be required to work a hybrid in-office schedule out of our Columbus, OH location (3 days per week).
