The Ohio State University's Center for Automotive Research (CAR) is looking to solve research objectives in the area of optimization and control for energy-efficient systems, including traffic modeling and optimal control, optimal control of infinite-dimensional systems, and multiagent systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 0 years of relevant experience in a research laboratory setting (required)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a research laboratory setting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- preparing and presenting research papers and reports
- writing, editing, and reviewing progress and technical reports for sponsors
- mentoring and advising graduate and undergraduate students
- supporting teaching activities (where applicable)
- contributing to student development
- assisting in identifying, writing, and preparing research proposals to pursue new funding opportunities
- collaborating in planning and coordinating meetings
