RTX Collins Aerospace's Mission Systems Advanced Technology & Concepts (ATC) group is seeking to advance the state of the art through research and creation of innovative system concepts and technological capabilities, specifically focusing on cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation, Communication, and AI solutions for Department of Defense research and development projects.
Requirements
- Development experience using Python or Matlab and AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Signal processing, Radio, or information theory courses
- Modeling and simulation courses
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of applied research prototypes with innovative strategies
- Supporting the development of new advanced concepts, targeting research organizations such as DARPA, DIU, ONR, CERDEC, AFRL, ARL, etc.
- Supporting our team in the development and execution of external technology (R&D) programs as well as Mission Systems Advanced Technology internal research and development (IR&D) projects
- Pursuit and development of cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation, Communication, and AI solutions
- Invention, development, and demonstration of new concepts and capabilities

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence related science degree.
- The applicant must be creative, highly self-motivated, have strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
