Requirements
- Knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval and Analytics
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience in causal inference, from RCT experiment design and analysis, to ML design and implementation
- Experience building machine learning models for business application
- Experience building complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning and computer vision
- Experience in causal measurement within advertising
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
Responsibilities
- Setting the vision and execution of privacy safe modeled measurement solutions based on cutting-edge technologies
- Leading teams of Applied Scientists, Economists, and Data Scientists to work backwards from customer needs and translate product ideas into concrete deliverables
- Inventing scalable measurement solutions that support highly accurate and actionable insights
- Solving hard problems, advancing science at Amazon, and being the leading innovator in privacy-safe modeled measurement solutions
- Working with massive data, a dedicated engineering team, and industry-leading partner scientists
