Microsoft Turing Team is looking to build the core of Microsoft Copilot for enterprise, aiming to improve the productivity of hundreds of millions of users by advancing large language models (LLMs) and delivering intelligent, quality, and transformative new features in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat.
Requirements
- Experience in applying deep learning techniques and drive end-to-end AI product development (Search, Recommendation, NLP, Document Understanding, etc).
- Experience with customer/End-result/Metrics driven in design and development.
- 2+ years experience in applying deep learning techniques and drive end-to-end AI product development (Chatbot, Search, Recommendation, NLP, Document Understanding, etc).
- 2+ years experience with customer/End-result/Metrics driven in design and development.
- Experience with end-to-end in a challenging technical problem domain (plan, design, execution, continuous release, and service operation).
Responsibilities
- Evolve our orchestrator to reason more effectively, respond faster, and support new capabilities in multi-modality, agent-based systems, and beyond
- Advance the state of the art in model training—including post-training methods such as fine-tuning and reinforcement learning, high-quality data curation, and experimentation with frontier model training
- Build and deliver model-driven features from concept to production—spanning model development, evaluation, metrics, and A/B testing
- driving projects through their entire life-cycle from idea creation through implementation, experimentation and finally shipping to our users
- help drive the design and implementation of the next wave of improvements of products for M365 Copilot and Microsoft
- working with truly big data by training and extending the capability of deep learning models to provide compelling experiences across our products
- Projects can span across modeling, evaluation, model optimization, large scale experimentation, and shipment of cutting edge technology for millions of users
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND relevant internship experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
- equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
