The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team at Amazon is looking to build industry-leading Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technology with Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems to advance the state of the art and provide the best-possible experience for customers.
Requirements
- Experience with generative deep learning models applicable to the creation of synthetic humans like CNNs, GANs, VAEs and NF
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Strong experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience with popular deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch
- Experience with patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- 1+ years of building models for business application experience
- Experience with large-scale computing resources
Responsibilities
- lead the development of algorithms and modeling techniques, to advance the state of the art with LLMs
- leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in LLMs

Other
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- 1+ years of building models for business application experience
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with peers
- Must be willing to apply for and obtain any necessary security clearance
- Travel may be required
