Prime Video is looking to improve its recommendation and search systems by developing advanced ML models to provide customers with a better entertainment experience.
Requirements
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- 1+ years of building models for business application experience
- Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
- Experience using Unix/Linux
- Experience in professional software development
Responsibilities
- Develop ML models for various recommendation & search systems using deep learning, online learning, and optimization methods
- Work closely with other scientists, engineers and product managers to expand the depth of our product insights with data, create a variety of experiments to determine the high impact projects to include in planning roadmaps
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field
- Publish your research findings in top conferences and journals
- Apply the latest research, state of the art algorithms and ML to build highly scalable page personalization solutions
- Be a research leader in the space and a hands-on ML practitioner, guiding and collaborating with talented teams of engineers and scientists and senior leaders in the Prime Video organization
- Publish your research at internal and external conferences
