Carrier Global Corporation is looking to oversee the zero emissions and idle reduction product portfolio for tractor applications within the Carrier Transicold truck-trailer-APU organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a technical environment within Engineering, R&D, or Supply Chain
  • Proven record of leadership, strategic thinking, and project management with a business mindset, including the ability to grasp complex situations and extract key points and motives and effectively communicate and quickly act on them

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing both short- and long-term product strategy initiatives
  • Working with the program management team and marketing functions on new product introductions
  • Interacting with cross functional groups (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales) to ensure initiatives meet schedule, cost and quality targets
  • Analyzing and monitoring the regulatory environment and assuring product compliance
  • Benchmarking competitive solutions and providing competitive comparisons
  • Engaging with marketing resources to develop effective sales and promotional materials
  • Developing and executing effective customer focused messages and campaigns

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Position requires a minimum of 20% to 25% travel throughout the US and to Canada
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to professionally represent the company in both writing and in oral communications (media relations, presentations, sales training, management presentations, etc.)
  • Traveling to customer and dealer locations to assist sales organization with high level presentations, or new product introductions
  • Providing interviews with trade media or representing the company on discussion panels at trade shows
