GE Healthcare is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining real-time and non-real-time software for Life Support devices (Anesthesia Systems, Vaporizers) and SW test tools.
Requirements
- Demonstrated computer sciences/engineering skills (e.g. C++, Python, C)
- Experience with embedded systems and developing / debugging for real HW targets
- Strong analytical ability and technical competency in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering areas
- Experience with C++
- Experience with software design lifecycle
- Experience with embedded software development
- Experience with test tool development
Responsibilities
- Help develop and maintain real-time and non-real-time software in C++ in support of Life Support devices (Anesthesia Systems, Vaporizers) and SW test tools
- Act as key team members collaborating with senior engineers to gain experience in the software design lifecycle
- Gain experience developing embedded software running on actual hardware systems and test tools to support the development and testing of these systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, code, test, and document software
- Develop and maintain software for Anesthesia and Respiratory Care (ARC) products
- Work on project-oriented assignments with responsibilities and hands-on involvement in areas of product and test tool software development
- Gain hands-on experience through challenging projects
