Altera.com and its connected digital ecosystem need a technical authority to ensure scalability, security, and performance of enterprise website and related platforms including CMS, content delivery systems, documentation portal, community portal, learning management system, and partner portal.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Acquia Drupal, SaaS integrations, and headless/hybrid CMS architectures.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise search, taxonomy/metadata design, and structured content delivery.
- Experience with DITA publishing workflows, ideally Ixiasoft and Fluid Topics.
- Expertise in integrating CRM, SSO, DAM, CDN, ERP/PLM/PIM systems with web applications.
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs).
- Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication/authorization models, and data privacy compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize performance.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical design and solution architecture for Altera.com and its integrated digital platforms (CMS, documentation portal, community portal, training portal).
- Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and integration strategies across all platforms including Drupal (Acquia CMS), Fluid Topics, Docebo & Khoros
- Architect solutions for scalability, performance, availability, and security, including role-based access control and secure content entitlement models.
- Oversee integrations with Microsoft Entra ID / Okta (SSO), DAM, NetStorage/CDN (Akamai), Salesforce , and ERP/PLM/PIM systems.
- Define and validate content publishing workflows from structured (DITA/Ixiasoft) and unstructured sources to Fluid Topics.
- Configure and customize platforms including Acquia Drupal, Fluid Topics, Docebo, and Khoros to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with identity management teams to design secure and compliant authentication and authorization solutions.
Other
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between Altera and implementation partners and Software Vendor Partners.
- Support cutover planning, testing, and deployment for phased go-lives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and vendor resources.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional and multi-vendor teams.
