TransUnion is looking to hire a DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, and modern DevOps practices to enable high-performance development and deployment workflows.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Helm) and microservices architecture.
- Strong grasp of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
- Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux).
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS or GCP Cloud.
- Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications at large scale, 10s of thousands of TPS and 99.999% reliability.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment.
- Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across cloud and container environments.
Other
- 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- 5+ years Production deployment and Design experience.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
