Arity, a part of Allstate, collects and analyzes enormous amounts of data to provide cutting-edge solutions to companies invested in transportation. The Analytics Team needs to transform mobility by analyzing billions of miles of driving data to provide insights and create visualizations for internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- Basic familiarity with Python and/or Scala and SQL
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and source control (Github)
- Basic familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Computer Proficiency in Linux and bash
- Development knowledge and experience in Spark or other distributed processing frameworks
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and related technology (scikit-learn, pandas, tensorflow)
Responsibilities
- Build test scripts, execute testing, workwith data engineers, analystsand business partners to ensure end user acceptance
- Contribute to the development of corporate research data files, information platforms or data spaces designed for exploring and understanding the data
- Execute on requirements to develop datasets for use by Data Analysts and business users
- Execute rapid development of new data work tracks with fast iteration over quick sprints
- Leverage and enhance the data infrastructure required to support Analytic needs, including AirFlow, GCP Composer and BigQuery.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to Data Analytic problems combining technical expertise with analytics and business knowledge
- Work with other Data Analytic Engineers, Data Analysts, and business partners on embedded cross-functional teams; developing subject matter expertise in the business as well as data analytics

- This is a Summer 2026 internship for students currently enrolled in a degree program.
- Target start date: May/June 2026
- Currently pursuing and will be completing a bachelor’s degree in a field such as Computer Science or equivalent skills
- Experience in time and task management
