EnsoData is a healthcare technology company aiming to improve patient care through waveform artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, making healthcare more accurate, efficient, and affordable by analyzing sensor data. The AI Engineer will help develop and deploy AI systems for clinical environments that are safe, effective, and regulatory compliant.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on machine learning experience, ideally in regulated or safety-critical domains
- Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern data science methods
- Proficiency with physiological signals, time series, or sensor data
- Strong coding skills in Python, with experience using ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
- Experience working with medical data, including imaging, physiological signals, or electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
- Knowledge of model interpretability, bias mitigation, and deployment challenges in real-world settings
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for clinical waveform data and sensor streams
- Validate AI models through rigorous testing, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems and clinical workflows
- Research and implement state-of-the-art AI techniques to advance healthcare diagnostics and monitoring
- Address challenges related to model interpretability, bias, and deployment in real-world healthcare environments
- Contribute to technical documentation, regulatory submissions, and scientific publications
- Support the deployment and monitoring of AI systems in clinical settings, ensuring safety and efficacy
