IDT is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern to work with a fast-paced team of mission-focused engineers to solve some of the US Department of Defense’s toughest challenges in the Warfare Systems business area, which is responsible for building, testing, and deploying the Navy’s next generation of tactical warfare and weapons systems.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with any of the following: Linux, C++, JavaScript, Python, VMWare or virtualization technologies
- Previous experience with AI / ML projects or internships
- Familiarity of Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of deep learning and neural networks

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field
