Trideum Corporation is seeking an artificial intelligence engineer to develop the next-generation of tools in support of missile defense and space systems, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Government customer's operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrable skills in coding, data management, and software workflows.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Extensive experience with Python, use of containers, version control, backend APIs, ML and generative AI libraries (such as, but not limited to, Ollama, LangChain, Milvus, Chroma, Pinecone), and data management techniques.
- Experience with User-Centric Products: Demonstrated experience implementing products that enhance user experience, particularly in contexts involving machine learning applications, generative AI, data visualization, and search optimizations.
- Cloud Certifications: Possession of certifications in AI and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with Missile Defense Systems or related technologies: Familiarity working with missile defense systems or similar systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Innovate: Design, write and deploy code for new system architectures, using libraries like LangChain for local LLMs and Milvus/Chroma/Pinecone for vector search to improve user functionality and efficiency with large, local datasets.
- Build ML Systems: Design, develop, implement, optimize, secure, and test unsupervised ML algorithms and related software to generate summaries, recommendations, and references from large datasets.
- Follow Best Practices: Maintain and champion best practices in software development, including coding standards, documentation, and smooth deployment processes.
- Evaluate Models: Design and construct pipelines for data preparation, model training, deployment, and monitoring, prioritizing deployable and efficient applications.
- Collaborate and Share Knowledge: Actively participate in technical and product discussions, sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues across various departments within the company.
- Execute Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD): Automate the build, test, and deployment of software; integrating version control, conducting automated testing, and ensuring secure, reliable, and frequent releases to production.

- Educational Background: Must have a degree in Computer Science, AI or Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Must have at least 2 years of SW development experience, with a minimum of 1 year focused on hands-on AI software development
- Travel Requirements: Engage in minimum travel for purposes like onboarding, corporate training, and other essential corporate activities.
- Security and Citizenship: Must be a US citizen and possess an active Secret security clearance, with the eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication abilities are required to effectively discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
