Peraton is seeking an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Senior Advisor to lead agile teams in solving complex development challenges and providing product solutions using Agile Methodologies.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of AI and ML technologies
- Knowledge of IT standards, system development life cycle and project management frameworks
- Familiarity with ticketing system, such as ServiceNow
- Experience in some or all of the following tools: GitLab, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins, Zephyr, Docker, PostgreSQL
- Experience with software development/Java preferred, full-stack development
- Experience working with data and databases in both structured and unstructured formats
- Hands-on experience in AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, etc), Certified AWS Solutions Architect preferred
Responsibilities
- Apply technical expertise to lead agile teams as a Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Senior Advisor with a Scrum Master background in working on unusually complex development challenges and provide product solutions in accordance with Agile Methodologies
- Work with architects and developers to build the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework
- Incorporate engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the customer's infrastructure related to its business processes of collection, analysis, production, and dissemination
- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management, provide cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components
- Apply knowledge of enterprise IT or engineering needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensures that these are consistent with the customer's enterprise technical architecture
- Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
- Customer liaison and support for development activities and to understand and shape requirements, assist the Govt. Product Owners in meeting their duties and responsibilities and managing the Product Backlog

- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Strong leadership skills and ability to foster collaborative relationships with customers, teaming partners and cross-functional teams
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information
- Agile experience, working knowledge of processes; SAFe 4.5/5.0 Certification or equivalent is preferred
