LexisNexis is looking to hire early-career professionals to contribute to the development and launch of innovative legal technology products, leveraging AI and advanced technologies to improve productivity and transform the practice of law.

Requirements

  • Be on track to receive a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field of study.
  • Have proficiency in at least one programming language, including but not limited to Angular, C, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .NET
  • Possess a basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), storage systems, and data modeling principles.
  • Display an interest in test-driven development and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for technology with the ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Have a collaborative mindset with solid communication skills.
  • Be able to engage with leading-edge technologies while working alongside accomplished peers.

Responsibilities

  • Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
  • Completing simple bug fixes and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
  • Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting basic technical challenges.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and development practices.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

  • The Aspire Graduate Program is a twelve-month initiative designed for recent graduates from various fields.
  • Applicants should have completed their studies in 2024 or 2025, or expect to finish between August 2025 and May 2026.
