Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on full-stack developer experience.
- Strong skills with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and document-based (NoSQL) data stores (e.g., MongoDB).
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with functionally flavored languages (e.g., Clojure, Haskell).
- Experience with popular front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue).
- Hands-on experience with training and deploying machine learning models.
- Any measure of DevOps experience (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities
- Dedicate half your time to hands-on development, creating simple, clean, and testable code in Python and TypeScript to build new product features and refactor existing systems.
- Act as a key technical authority, spending ~25% of your time making critical architectural and design decisions for services, machine learning solutions, and front-ends to ensure they are scalable and robust.
- Utilize the remaining ~25% of your time on management and supervisory functions, including providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and overseeing project execution with a high degree of autonomy.
- Collaborate within a fast-moving team to solve large, complicated problems for some of the largest organizations in the world.
