The Department of Biostatistics at the University of Florida is seeking a full-time tenure-track faculty member to pursue independent and collaborative research, teach in the MS and PhD in Biostatistics Programs, and support a concentration in Biostatistics as part of the Masters of Public Health Program, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in biostatistics or related quantitative discipline
- Experience and expertise in developing and using artificial intelligence
- Strong record of academic accomplishments, scholarly recognition, external research funding, and evidence of leadership
- Strong potential to develop a record of research and scholarly achievement
- Knowledge of big data analysis
- Knowledge of statistical methods of health surveys
- Knowledge of high-dimensional inference, longitudinal data analysis, and clinical trials
