Boulder Valley School District is looking to hire an Assistant Coach for the Cross Country team to instruct and work with athletes, prepare them for competition, and assist with the cross country program.
Requirements
- Knowledge of all aspects of middle school activity programming
- Previous coaching experience
- Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students
Responsibilities
- Assisting with coordinating of varsity program and summer/off season programs
- Implementing expectations and direction of the program
- Preparation of team for competition
- Teaching fundamental and advanced skills
- Attendance at CHSAA and League/Region Coaches' meetings
- Following BVSD, school and CHSAA regulations and policies
- Communication with parents, players, school staff, media, etc.
Other
- Must be 21 years of age, or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be available after school, evenings and weekends
- Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English
- Complete and submitted BVSD online application
