Requirements
- some construction experience is required
- basic knowledge of production homebuilding
- experience in residential construction management
Responsibilities
- assist in the supervision of all on-site construction
- scheduling of sub-contractors on the job
- resolving day-to-day problems on the job site
- inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- obtaining all permits necessary to construct houses
- ordering all materials required to construct houses
- working with the Assistant Construction Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Manager to set up and monitor the construction schedule
Other
- currently enrolled in their Junior or Senior year majoring in construction management or a related field
- strong organizational and people skills
- College Degree Not Required
- None travel required
- on-site 5 days per week
