SEO is looking to solve the problem of educational and career opportunity gaps for ambitious young people, specifically in the tech industry, by developing and implementing the Tech Developer program.
Requirements
- General technical proficiencies to lead tech engineers and instructors and manage programming within a cloud-based environment.
- Using MS365 products, Box, Monday.com, advanced Excel, Codio, Airtable, etc.
- Experience with program management and pre-professional coaching/mentoring, ideally within corporate tech.
- Partnerships experience a plus.
- People management experience within roles of increasing autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills.
- Motivational Skills/Empathy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach 2-3 direct reports and provide skip level management to part-time, instructional staff members.
- Lead engagements with other internal SEO teams to ensure ideal recruiting and career development outcomes.
- Represent Tech Dev among other SEO professional program peers and provide support where programs intersect.
- Manage external relationships, including training platform vendors, curriculum providers, evaluators and researchers.
- Lead the annual budgeting and planning for the Tech Dev program.
- Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and impact.
- Regularly assess program goals and outcomes, adjusting operations as necessary.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4-5 years of direct program management and pre-professional coaching/mentoring experience.
- 2+years of people management experience within roles of increasing autonomy and responsibility.
- Passion for SEO and a dedication to closing opportunity gaps.
- Strong time management skills and willingness and ability to take on ad hoc projects as needed.
