Four Seasons is looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining the hotel and building infrastructure, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing the engineering team.

- Requires technical knowledge of building maintenance and engineering trades.
- Ability to operate computer equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer in all aspects of hotel and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating
- Respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
- Assist with the planning, organizing, controlling , and directing the workflow of engineering requests.
- Assist in managing the team to conduct repairs and maintenance of the building as required by the operation or special projects assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Assist in the training, supervision, counseling, scheduling and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis.
- Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors who provide reliable 24-hour emergency services .
- This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.
Other
- Minimum 2 + years of previous experience in engineering trades related to hospitality is preferred.
- Experience working in and supervising staff and leading teams in a hotel environment preferred.
- This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
- Fluency in English is required for this location, and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
