GAI Consultants is looking to fill an Assistant Civil Engineering Manager position to lead and manage civil engineering activities and assist business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Site Layout/Grading Plans
- Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
- Stormwater Management Plans
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic/Drainage Plans
- Utility Design and Relocation Plans
- Geotechnical Investigations
- Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control Plans
Responsibilities
- Assist business development initiatives
- Lead civil engineering activities
- Manage projects within the Power Generation industry (primarily renewables)
- Technically lead engineering tasks in area of expertise
- Successfully delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability
- Plans and manages small to medium value task, with a single or dual discipline focus and a low to medium risk profile
- Owner’s Engineer Support during construction
Other
- Desire and ability to travel to Project sites, as needed, primarily in the mid-west and mid-Atlantic region of the United States
- Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
- Driver's License
- Professional Engineer
