The University of Kentucky's College of Communication and Information is seeking an Assistant Professor (Special Title) of Information Communication Technology to teach, conduct research, and provide service to the School of Information Science.
Requirements
- Knowledge of information communication technology
- Experience with online master’s degrees (library science and information communication technology)
- Familiarity with undergraduate major in information communication technology (including an online degree offering)
- Experience with online minor in information studies
- Knowledge of instructional communication and research
- Experience with multi-modal communication
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary research
Responsibilities
- Teach a 3-3 teaching load, with opportunities to teach across the School’s graduate and undergraduate programs
- Oversee student internships
- Build industry relationships
- Oversee student-facing initiatives
- Maintain a personal research program
- Participate in professional activities
- Serve on university committees

- Earned doctoral degree in a relevant field
