The Department of Information Systems and Analytics (ISA) in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Analytics to conduct high-quality research in supply chain analytics and teach relevant undergraduate and graduate courses.
Requirements
- Ph.D., D.B.A or ABD from an internationally accredited institution with a business-related focus in supply chain/operations management, management science/operations research, and data analytics/data science/decision science
- Active business-related research agenda in Supply Chain Analytics
- Experience with AI, ML, Stochastic/Dynamic Programming/Learning
- Applied/empirical supply chain research experience
- Previous teaching experience in supply chain and data analytics
- Evidence of effective teaching
- Track record (or potential) for publications in peer-reviewed high-quality journals
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in supply chain analytics, leading to peer reviewed scholarly publications
- Apply Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) to research
- Teach relevant undergraduate and graduate courses
- Service at the department, college, university, and professional levels
- Develop and maintain a research agenda in Supply Chain Analytics
- Secure external funding and/or create connections with industry
- Publish in peer-reviewed high-quality journals
