Requirements
- Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, and data analytics with applications in business, engineering, and social sciences
- Proficiency in health informatics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C++, machine learning frameworks/libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, deep learning frameworks and PyTorch
- Experience in securing research funding and managing interdisciplinary projects
- Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Demonstrated research record in AI applications to computer science, cybersecurity, humanities, business, or data science
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the undergraduate and graduate level
Responsibilities
- Conduct interdisciplinary research in AI applications for business, engineering, technology, arts, and sciences, including predictive analytics, personalized medicine, and systems optimization
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in AI applications for Business, Engineering, Technology, Arts, and Sciences through active learning experiences and project-based pedagogy
- Advance research that integrates AI with innovative problem-solving in diverse fields such as economics, creative arts, systems design, and social sciences
- Seek external funding for research and programmatic initiatives
- Publish in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals and contribute to scholarly discourse
- Participate in curriculum development and innovative teaching practices
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with faculty across multiple colleges
Other
- Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with community stakeholders
