Mount Holyoke College is looking to fill a tenure track position in Data Science at the Assistant Professor level to teach and conduct research in data science, and to develop a data science curriculum and collaborations on campus.
Requirements
- Expertise across the breadth of data science
- Ph.D. or ABD in Data Science or related field
- Strong commitment to research
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students
- Ability to teach at all levels
- Ability to develop a data science curriculum
- Ability to conduct research in data science
Responsibilities
- Teach at all levels, including an introductory data science course and a project-based capstone course
- Teach courses in area of expertise
- Develop a data science curriculum
- Enrich data science collaborations on campus
- Conduct research in data science
- Mentor students who are broadly diverse
- Accommodate and encourage undergraduates in research program
Other
- A Ph.D. or ABD is required
