Requirements
- PhD in Philosophy is expected by the date of appointment
- Research involves AI related issues in applied ethics or considers AI from the angle of the philosophy of cognitive science and the mind
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the philosophy of artificial intelligence (AI)
- Teach courses in the philosophy of AI
- Contribute to the Hastings Initiative for AI and Humanity
- Engage in faculty development related to AI
- Support teaching and research in AI-related areas
- Foster dialogue around AI's role in shaping the future
