Sunoco LP is seeking an Associate Analyst – Data Analytics to drive strategic insights and lead high-impact analytics initiatives, solving complex business problems through data-driven improvements and translating business requirements into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages (e.g. R, Python).
- Experience with data analysis packages for Python (pandas) or R (tidyverse).
- Experience with machine learning packages for Python (scikit-learn) or R (tidymodels).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with code-first data dashboard frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Shiny).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine datasets, reports, dashboards, models that drive strategic decision-making.
- Manage project deployment pipelines, taking code from development environments to production.
- Spearhead the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions, including datasets, dashboards, predictive models, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for data-driven improvements and translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Ensure data products are delivered with the highest quality, while promoting best practices in analytics workflows.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance the analytics function.
