L3Harris is seeking an Engineer to support their Manufacturing and Process team in troubleshooting complex operations involved in the manufacture of various rocket motor components and assemblies.
Requirements
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related major
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing engineering in the troubleshooting of complex operations involved in the manufacture of insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, composite rocket motor components, and rocket motor assembly operation.
- Originate, prepare, and maintain detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of rocket warhead components.
- Perform hands-on pilot operations for manufacture of new inert or energetic components, and development program components and assemblies.
- Accurately report problems, solutions, and results in concise written and oral communications.
