CDK Global is looking to increase incremental revenue by selling CRM software to existing clients and growing its share of wallet in the automotive and related industries
Requirements
- Experience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution
- Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
- Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the client
- Experience using a CRM system
- Experience with developing and managing a sales territory
- Automotive retail experience
- Experience using CDK CRM software
Responsibilities
- Identify CRM opportunities with existing customers
- Develop comprehensive understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality
- Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process
- Gain an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and/or territory
- Focus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs
- Escalate customer concerns/issues for a timely and appropriate resolution for the customer and company
- Develop an overall sales plan and forecast short and long-term sales results
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-2 years of B2B selling experience
- Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships
- 75% travel in the field with weekly overnight travel expected
- Must live in NY, NJ or CT
