Optum's Enterprise Security and Resilience Office (ESRO) Cyber AI team is looking to improve UHG's cybersecurity stance by building innovative solutions. The data and systems protected are distributed globally, complex, and constantly evolving, requiring creative navigation of development, analytic, and engineering challenges.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience developing and delivering statistical models, ML or AI solutions
- Background experience with data engineering with an affinity for developing code from the command line
- GenAI experience
- Graph ML knowledge
- 1+ year of Python scripting experience
- 1+ year of SQL experience
- Experience in the cyber security domain
- Experience working with Big Data systems
- PySpark experience
- Petabyte-scale experience with Big Data and data science
- SQL, H2O, Unix, SAS and R experience
- Foundational knowledge in information technology, including hardware, networking, architecture, protocols, file systems and operating systems
- Azure Open AI Studio
- Databricks
- AWS Neptune
Responsibilities
- Working with senior team members and internal customers to produce meaningful data science models, ML or AI solutions that impact cybersecurity
- Collecting, cleaning, processing, and analyzing data related to enterprise cybersecurity
- Developing ML/AI models within an operational CICD pipeline
- Working with source data teams to understand security and operational processes through data
- Remaining up to date and on the cutting edge of big data, data science, ML and AI technology
- Constantly learning and adapting to new techniques, languages, and technologies
