Federated Hermes is seeking an Associate Application Developer to join their Enterprise Data and Reporting department to design, write, modify, test, and maintain programs, scripts, and modules to meet changing business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of team-oriented development experience in a relational database environment required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with SQL required
- Experience with C-Sharp programming or related programming language required
- Experience with PowerShell scripting preferred
- Working knowledge of API Management platforms, familiarity with Azure APIM preferred.
- Experience with Integration tools (Boomi or Informatica) preferred
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and automated unit testing preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, write, modify, test and maintain programs, scripts and modules to meet changing business needs with supervision
- Develop and publish database, program, script and test specifications with supervision
- Effectively utilize and optimize system resources appropriate to the business needs
- Adhere to departmental Software Development Life Cycle standards (programming, deployment, testing, documentation, incident reporting, etc.)
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, system enhancements and bug fixes as needed
- Collaborate with Business Unit, Strategy and Business Analysis teams to understand requirements and business needs
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Other
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a comparable technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience required
- 3rd level On-Call off hours support on a rotational basis
- This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office/remote) and is located in Federated Hermes’ Warrendale, Pennsylvania office (15086).
