Santander is looking for an Associate, Application Development to develop, maintain, and enhance critical business applications, and provide specialized technical and quick hit solutions for strategic and near-term projects.
Requirements
- 5+ Years Java, JavaScript, API and Vendor APIs, Jira, VMware Virtualization and Scrum Methodology - Required
- 5+ Years Knowledge of Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC). - Required
- Develops or modifies complex software that is optimized for performance.
- Develops high profile, high performance solutions using cutting edge technologies.
- Contributes to application software reporting initiatives.
- Identifies and resolves complex app issues and bugs.
- Tests new installations and/or software prior to release to minimize failures and impact.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and enhances critical business applications

- Leads the design and development of solutions aligned with all facets of Tech Data's business units utilizing robust computing architectures in a multi-tier environment
- Delivers products using the Scrum methodologies

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field. - Required.
- Master's Degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field. - Preferred.
